September Special:

an Artist from our community, will be leading an OPTIONAL guided session focusing on pencil work. Beginners, or anyone simply looking for structure, are welcome to join. Expect guidance around observation, form, gesture, shading, and translating the human body onto paper.

Prefer to work independently? That's perfectly fine too. Find your spot, settle in, and create at your own pace.

🌈 We welcome all expressions, all identities, any skill level.

🎨 For the Artist:

Whether you're an experienced illustrator, a casual sketcher, or someone just beginning to explore figure drawing, you're welcome here.

Bring your preferred medium and make yourself comfortable. Traditional and digital mediums are welcome; photography and videography are strictly not permitted.

Artist Ettiqute:

• You’re welcome to set up anywhere in the space

• Easels allowed, arrive early if you need a specific spot.

• Washrooms available for tool cleanup.

• No photography or video

• Please do not touch the muses unless consented to directly.

• Do not depict identifiable features without explicit consent. This includes faces, tattoos, distinctive markings, jewellery, or other recognisable features.

• You're encouraged to show your finished work to your muse afterwards. It's often a lovely exchange between artist and subject, though there is never an obligation to give away your original work.

  
  

What to expect:

Caught on Canvas is now artist registration only. Monkey Business will curate the muses and scenes, allowing us to create a more intimate, focused environment where artists have the time and space to settle into the experience.

  Nudity may or may not be present. Depending on the muse, their boundaries, and the scene being presented, subjects may be clothed, partially clothed, or nude. Nudity is never guaranteed, nor is it the sole focus of the session.
